Although I did not plan it this way, I had the good fortune of navigating during the uncertainty and disruption in 2020 thus far with COVID-19 by being in Dy Ann’s Midlife Mindset Shift course. What a perfect transition from her intermittent fasting course which built the foundation for reducing inflammation, creating a real energized sense of calm, and driving additional weight loss for me.
I absolutely love the simplicity and straightforward approach that Dy Ann teaches to help us get past many areas in life where we may be stuck. She strongly encourages that you test out situations for yourself because everyone is so different. She has tools that we use to get past worry, procrastination, If/then scenarios and much more. It works. Those simple tools help to get laser focused on our goals and create a path to our best life. The materials are there for us to continue to review and to refine our path as we learn.
The Community Group is such an inspiration with others who have similar goals and needs, but are diverse in their background and experiences. I really look forward to the small group coaching every week! I truly do not know how I would have come out on the other end of the past three months during the on-going COVID-19 crisis without the encouragement and workable tools that I gained here. I highly recommend this program! Thank you, Dy Ann for making a difference.

I first heard about intermittent fasting from my father and discovered Dy Ann’s videos when I researched fasting on the internet. It took a couple of months for me to decide to take the Intermittent Fasting for Today's Aging Woman course. That course was life changing and gave me a great foundation for understanding fasting and my body’s hormonal response. It also helped me find my WHY and understand that this lifestyle is about so much more than losing weight.
When the Mindset course was offered, I didn’t hesitate! Through the lessons and the community interaction, I have learned a lot more about fasting and about myself. The thoughtful questions have helped me dig deeper into my relationship and history with food. It helped remove the diet mentality I’ve always had and cemented this way of living into a true lifestyle for me. I no longer have to worry about ‘falling off the wagon.’ I may choose to go outside my normal boundaries for a day, a weekend, or even for a vacation week. I just jump back into my routine when the celebration is over, no big deal!
The Goal setting work we do in the Mindset class has been another game changer. I used to set vague goals that I never achieved. Now I know how to define my goals and I reach them.
The Declutter class has changed my life in another way. I love being in my home and it’s great being able to keep things tidy and organized. No more piles of clutter!
Some of the changes I’ve experienced in the past few years:
- I’m around 100 lbs. lighter
- I'm off all blood pressure meds
- I have abundant energy
- My bloodwork is normal
- I love to exercise!!
I am 62 years old and I’m so happy that the Mindset course taught me how to become the woman I always wanted to be.
