Here at the for Today's Aging Woman Community, I teach the 20:4 intermittent fasting protocol. I like to refer to this protocol as the Sweet Spot. It is the best protocol to balance our hunger hormones and reset our metabolism.
But there are so many varying opinions.
Curious, how long do you fast?
Fasting protocols are recommendations for how to break up your 24-hour day into windows for Intermittent Fasting. With the majority of your day spent in a fast. How long you fast should be determined by WHY it is you want to fast in the first place. If you do not have a strong emotional connection to your WHY then the HOW... with never stand the test of time. You will be in and out of this fasting thing feeling frustrated and probably even more confused. Any time spent in a fasted state is time well spent. But understanding the different protocols might help you reach your goals faster and keep you in the fasting game longer. I hope today's video helps you figure things out.
